And a belief we keep coming back to: kids deserve a place in this hobby.
A moment that stayed with us.
Joel’s experience with a scalper is part of why Code 3 TCG exists. Shelves had been cleared, and the message was that Pokémon wasn’t for kids anymore.
We believe the opposite. Kids should be able to discover a favorite Pokémon, start a binder, and enjoy collecting without being made to feel they don’t belong.
That is the experience we want to change. The chance to enjoy the hobby should matter more than who can buy everything first.

We’re building Code 3 TCG with Joel’s experience in mind: a Virginia-based shop where kids, families, players, and longtime collectors are welcome.
We sell trading cards, collectibles, and the accessories that help you care for them. We want the way we sell to reflect why we started—with respect for collectors, room for kids, and a love of the hobby.
